Many people know Lannon for the "Lannon Quarry" as a prime summertime swimming location. The recreational spot is actually located just outside of the Lannon municipal border and is part of the Waukesha County Parks. This particular park is called the Menomonee Park and is located just north of Good Hope Rd. on Town Line Rd.

Lannon is also known for it's long history of baseball and softball championships. The home of Lannon baseball is Joecks Memorial Park located on Lannon Rd. just northwest of Main St. ( just past Mibb's and Vibb's, world famous for it's fish and chicken fry). In fact baseball has played such a prominent role in Lannon's history that it is part of the official Village of Lannon logo.
